This is one of the most common worries, so let's be clear: your music does not disappear because a payment lapses. Here is what actually changes.
Your released music stays live
Releases that have already been delivered to stores stay live on those stores. Your catalogue and account data remain in your dashboard — you do not lose your uploads.
What does change
When a paid plan is not renewed, your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the period you already paid for. That means plan-specific perks switch off and Free-plan limits apply again — for example, the minimum release-scheduling window goes back to the Free value, and priority support no longer applies. See How to Upgrade or Change Your Plan for the difference between tiers.
Royalties keep accruing
Streams continue to earn while your music is live. To withdraw earnings you still need completed KYC and to meet the minimum payout threshold — those rules do not change with your plan.
Avoid losing access
- Keep your payment method current if you want to retain paid features.
- If you no longer need the paid tier, downgrade intentionally rather than letting a payment fail — downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period and you keep paid features until then.
- Want to leave entirely? See How to Delete Your InterSpace Account and Take Down Your Catalog.
