Account Verification (KYC)
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is a standard industry requirement for financial platforms. InterSpace Distribution uses KYC to verify the identity of artists requesting payouts above certain thresholds.
When Is KYC Required?
- When your cumulative payout amount exceeds certain thresholds
- When our compliance team flags an account for review
- For Label plan accounts managing multiple artists
What Documents Are Required?
- Government-issued photo ID: National ID card, International Passport, or Driver Licence
- Proof of address (optional, may be required for higher verification tiers): Utility bill or bank statement dated within 3 months
How to Complete KYC
- Log into your dashboard
- A KYC prompt will appear on your dashboard if verification is required, or go to Account → Verification
- Upload your government-issued ID (front and back if required)
- Submit the form
- Our team reviews submissions within 1–2 business days
What Happens While KYC Is Pending?
Your music distribution continues as normal while verification is pending. However, payout requests may be held until verification is complete.
