Deleting your account and taking your music off streaming services are two different things. Deleting your account does not automatically remove releases that are already live, so do these steps in order.
Step 1 — Take down your live releases
For each release you want removed from stores, request a takedown from Releases → open the release → Takedown, or ask support to process them. Takedowns are permanent and you lose streams, playlist placements, and follower counts. See Take down my content from DSPs.
Step 2 — Settle any royalties first
If you have a payable balance, complete KYC and withdraw it before closing your account — you lose dashboard access once the account is deleted. See Account Verification (KYC) and the royalties articles.
Step 3 — Request account deletion
Submit a deletion request from the email address on the account — open a support ticket titled "Account deletion request" (or use the account-settings option in your dashboard where available). Confirm in the request that you understand it is permanent. We verify ownership before deleting so nobody can close your account for you.
What happens next
- Your account and personal data are removed in line with our privacy and data-retention policy.
- The action cannot be undone — your catalogue, history, and any unredeemed balance are lost.
- If you only wanted to stop being billed, you can instead downgrade to the Free plan and keep your account — see How to Upgrade or Change Your Plan.
If you are based in a region with statutory data-deletion rights, mention it in your ticket and we will handle the request accordingly.
