How to Create Your Smart Link

How to Create a SmartLink

A SmartLink is a single, shareable URL that detects the listener location and device and automatically routes them to your music on their preferred streaming platform. Instead of sharing multiple links, you share one — and InterSpace handles the rest.

How to Create a SmartLink

  1. Log into your dashboard
  2. Navigate to SmartLinks in the main menu
  3. Click Create New SmartLink
  4. Search for your release or paste the Spotify/Apple Music URL
  5. Customise your SmartLink page:
  • Add your release artwork and title
  • Select which platforms to show (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Boomplay, etc.)
  • Customise the page colours and layout
  • Add a call-to-action button (e.g., "Pre-Save" or "Listen Now")
  1. Customise your URL slug (e.g., interspacemusic.com/fm/your-song-name)
  2. Click Publish

SmartLink Features

Pre-Save Campaigns

Before your release goes live, activate the pre-save mode on your SmartLink. Fans can save your release directly to their Spotify or Apple Music library before it drops — boosting your Day 1 streams and algorithm visibility.

Fan Capture

Collect email addresses or phone numbers from fans who click your SmartLink. Build your mailing list and own your audience data.

Deep Analytics

See how many people clicked your SmartLink, which platform they chose, which country they are in, and how many converted to streams or saves.

QR Code

Every SmartLink automatically generates a QR code. Download it for use on posters, merchandise, CD/vinyl artwork, or any physical materials.

Smart Geo-Ordering

InterSpace automatically reorders the DSP buttons based on the listener location — showing the most popular platform in their country first for the highest click-through rate.

Sharing Your SmartLink

  • Copy the link and post it in your social media bio and posts
  • Use the QR code on physical merchandise or flyers
  • Add it to your email newsletter
  • Use it in music PR and press releases instead of individual DSP links
