Royalty Currency
InterSpace Distribution pays royalties in your local currency based on the country registered on your account.
Supported Currencies
- NGN (Nigerian Naira) — for Nigeria-based accounts
- USD (US Dollar) — for international accounts and other countries
How Currency Conversion Works
DSPs report royalties in US Dollars (USD). InterSpace converts your earnings to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payout processing.
Changing Your Currency
Your currency is determined by your account country setting. To update it:
- Go to Account → Profile
- Update your country
- Contact support if you also need your payment method currency updated
Note: Currency changes do not apply retroactively to already-processed royalties.
Taxes
InterSpace Distribution does not withhold taxes on your behalf for most territories. You are responsible for declaring and paying applicable taxes in your country. US-based streaming platforms may apply withholding taxes on royalties paid to non-US persons — contact support for details.
