Your Music Can Earn on SoundCloud

InterSpace delivers your release to SoundCloud along with the other stores. On SoundCloud, your tracks can earn royalties when they are streamed by listeners on paid and ad-supported tiers, similar to other platforms. Those earnings are collected and paid into your InterSpace balance with the rest of your royalties.

Monetization Is Territory-Based

SoundCloud only pays out on plays that happen in territories where its monetization programme operates. A stream from a listener in a monetized country earns revenue; a stream from a country outside the programme may not generate a payout, even though the play still counts as a listen.

The list of monetized territories is set and updated by SoundCloud, and it has expanded over time. This is why your SoundCloud play count can look high while the earnings from it are smaller than you might expect: only the plays inside eligible territories are monetized.

How SoundCloud Earnings Reach You

  1. Listeners stream your track on SoundCloud.
  2. SoundCloud calculates revenue on eligible (monetized-territory) plays.
  3. SoundCloud reports and pays that revenue to InterSpace on its own reporting cycle.
  4. We add it to your account, and it appears in your Balance once processed.

Withdrawing Your Earnings

SoundCloud royalties are combined with your other royalties and are subject to the same Minimum Payment Threshold before you can request a payout. You do not withdraw from SoundCloud directly; everything flows through your InterSpace account.
