When Do Streams Show in My InterSpace Dashboard?

The Short Answer

Your streaming numbers appear in your InterSpace dashboard after the first 3 months following your release. After that first report arrives, your stats update monthly.

So if your release went live in January, expect to see your first stream counts in the dashboard around April — and a fresh update every month after that.

Why the 3-Month Delay?

InterSpace does not count streams directly — the streaming platforms (DSPs) do. Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, Deezer and the other platforms count your plays, then compile and certify official reports before sending them to distributors.

This certification cycle takes time. DSPs typically deliver their first consolidated reports with a lag of up to 3 months, which is an industry-wide standard — it is the same for every distributor, not just InterSpace. The delay exists so the platforms can filter out invalid plays and confirm the final, payable numbers.

The Reporting Timeline

Here is what to expect after your release goes live:

Months 1–3: Your music is live and earning, but the dashboard will not show stream counts yet. The DSPs are still compiling their official reports.

Month 3 onwards: Your first official stream counts appear in your dashboard, together with the royalties they earned.

Every month after: New reports arrive monthly. Each update covers activity from roughly 2–3 months earlier, because DSPs always report in arrears.

Want Real-Time Numbers? Use the Platform Tools

While you wait for official reports, you can watch your streams in real time directly on the platforms:

Spotify for Artists — live and daily stream counts, playlist adds, and listener stats.

Apple Music for Artists — plays, average daily listeners, and Shazam activity.

YouTube Studio / Audiomack / Boomplay creator dashboards — each platform offers its own real-time or near-real-time analytics.

These tools show activity within hours or days. Keep in mind the numbers there are estimates until the platform certifies them — your InterSpace dashboard shows the certified figures your royalties are actually paid on, which is why it is slower but final.

My Release Is Older Than 3 Months and I Still See Nothing

If your release has been live for more than 3 months and your dashboard still shows no streams:

1. Confirm your release status is Approved and the release is actually live on the platforms (search for it on Spotify or Apple Music).

2. Check that you are looking at the Finance / Royalties section of your dashboard.

3. Remember that very recent activity will not be included yet — reports always run 2–3 months behind.

If everything checks out and you still see nothing, open a support ticket and include your release title, UPC (if you have it), and the platforms where you can see activity. Our team will trace the reports for you.
