Does joining the MCN cost anything?
Yes — there is a one-time upfront joining fee, alongside the revenue share set out in your MCN agreement. The current fee is confirmed with you during the application process. Email legal@interspacemusic.com to apply.
Do I lose ownership of my channel?
No. You keep full ownership and control of your channel, your content, and your Google account. Linking to the network grants InterSpace rights-management and monetisation access through YouTube's CMS — nothing more.
Can I still upload whatever I want?
Yes — it is your channel. Your content must continue to follow YouTube's Community Guidelines and copyright rules, and uploads of unlicensed third-party content can put your network membership at risk.
I already have AdSense / YouTube Partner Program. Can I still join?
Yes. When your channel links to the network, monetisation is handled through the network instead of your personal AdSense. Your earnings then report into your InterSpace dashboard.
Why am I getting claims on my own videos?
You should not be — network channels are whitelisted against the InterSpace catalogue. If a claim slips through (for example on a brand-new release), contact support and we will release it and fix the whitelist.
Someone re-uploaded my video. What can you do?
Report it to support with both URLs (your original and the re-upload). We can claim the re-upload so its revenue comes to you, or have it taken down entirely.
How long does the application take?
Channel review usually takes a few business days. After approval, the YouTube linking invitation is usually completed within a day of you accepting it in YouTube Studio.
Can I leave the network?
Yes. Contact support to request an unlink and we will release your channel through the YouTube CMS, subject to the notice period in your MCN agreement. Your channel, content, and subscribers are unaffected.
Does the MCN work for labels with multiple channels?
Yes — label accounts can link multiple artist channels under the network. Mention that you are a label in your application and list each channel URL.
Can I get a ready-made channel directly from InterSpace?
