YouTube Multi-Channel Network (MCN)

How to Join the InterSpace MCN — Requirements and Application

Requirements

Before applying, make sure your channel meets these requirements:

  • You distribute music through InterSpace Distribution with at least one live release
  • You own or control the YouTube channel you want to link, and it represents you (or your label's artists)
  • Your channel has no active Community Guidelines strikes
  • Your channel has no unresolved copyright strikes
  • The content on your channel is original or fully licensed — no re-uploaded third-party content

Your channel must also comply with YouTube's own monetisation policies. MCN membership does not bypass YouTube's rules — it adds professional management on top of them.

How to Apply

  1. Submit a request: email legal@interspacemusic.com with the subject "MCN Application". Include:
    • Your YouTube channel URL
    • Your InterSpace account email
    • Your artist or label name
  2. Channel review: our team reviews your channel against the requirements above. This usually takes a few business days.
  3. Pay the one-time joining fee: MCN membership has a one-time upfront fee. Our team confirms the current fee and payment options with you once your channel passes review.
  4. Accept the network invitation: if approved, YouTube sends an invitation to link your channel to the InterSpace network. You accept it from YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel while signed in to the Google account that owns the channel.
  5. Confirmation: once linked, you will see the network listed in your YouTube Studio settings, and we confirm by email that your channel is active in the network.

After You Join

  • Your channel is whitelisted against the InterSpace catalogue, so your own uploads stop receiving claims
  • Channel revenue starts reporting into your InterSpace dashboard (YouTube reports earnings on roughly a monthly cycle)
  • You can request OAC assistance, claim management, and takedowns at any time through support

Leaving the Network

Membership is not a lock-in. If you ever want to unlink your channel, contact support and we will release it through the YouTube CMS — see the InterSpace MCN FAQs for notice periods and details.
