Where to Find Your Royalty Statement

ISRCThe unique identifier for that recording
DSP / StoreThe platform that generated the streams (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
TerritoryThe country where streams occurred
Sale TypeStream, download, or sync usage

Net RevenueWhat you actually receive (after any applicable fees)

Why Is There a Lag in My Statements?

Streaming platforms report their data on a 2–3 month delay. For example, streams that happened in January typically appear in your March or April statement. This is industry-standard and applies to every distributor, not just InterSpace.

Timeline example:

  • January: Your track is streamed 10,000 times on Spotify
  • February–March: Spotify collects and calculates royalties internally
  • April: Spotify sends the report to InterSpace
  • April–May: InterSpace processes and adds earnings to your balance

Why Do Earnings Vary Month to Month?

Royalty rates are not fixed — they fluctuate based on:

  • Streaming rates by country — streams from the US, UK, or Germany pay more than streams from lower-tier markets
  • Platform subscription pool — Spotify pays based on your share of total platform streams that month
  • Stream count — organic spikes after playlist placements or viral moments increase earnings
  • Fraudulent stream deductions — platforms claw back earnings from flagged artificial streams

How to Export Your Statement

  1. Go to Royalties → Statements
  2. Select the statement month
  3. Click Download CSV or Download PDF
  4. Open in Excel, Google Sheets, or a spreadsheet application for detailed analysis
