How to Claim and Edit Your Apple Music for Artists Profile

What Apple Music for Artists Gives You

Apple Music for Artists is Apple's free dashboard where you can manage how your artist page looks on Apple Music and see detailed listening data across Apple Music and Shazam.

Before You Start

You need at least one release live on Apple Music. InterSpace delivers your music to Apple Music and iTunes as part of standard distribution. Once your first release is live, your artist page exists and can be claimed.

How to Claim Your Profile

  1. Go to the Apple Music for Artists website or download the app.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID (or create one).
  3. Search for your artist name and select your profile.
  4. Request access. Apple will verify you, sometimes via a social account or by confirming your identity.
  5. Once approved, you can manage your profile and view analytics.

What You Can Edit

  • Your artist photo and banner images
  • Your biography
  • Choose your artist milestones and shelf order

Note that song titles, artwork, and credits come from the release metadata you submit to InterSpace, not from the Apple dashboard. To fix those, update the release with InterSpace.

If Your Music Is on the Wrong Apple Profile

This usually means the artist was not matched correctly at delivery. See My Artist Profile Is Claimed by Someone Else and open a ticket so we can request a re-match.
