Submitting copyright violations to InterSpace Distribution

Submitting Copyright Violation Reports

If you discover that your music is being used or distributed without your permission, InterSpace Distribution can assist you in taking action.

Types of Copyright Violations

  • Someone else is distributing your original recording — another party has uploaded and is monetising your music without your consent
  • Unauthorised sampling — your recording has been sampled in another release without clearance
  • Cover song without a licence — your composition is being covered and distributed without a mechanical licence

How to Report a Violation

For Releases on InterSpace Distribution

For Releases on Streaming Platforms (Not on InterSpace)

You will need to submit a DMCA takedown directly to the platform:

  • Spotify: support.spotify.com → Copyright claims
  • YouTube: youtube.com/copyright_complaint_form
  • Apple Music: Through your Apple Music for Artists account

What Happens After You Report?

Our team will investigate the claim. If the violation is verified:

  • The infringing release may be taken down
  • The uploader may be warned or have their account suspended
  • We will notify you of the outcome
