Content & Community Guidelines

To maintain a safe, legal, and fair platform for all artists, InterSpace Distribution enforces the following content standards. All releases submitted through our platform must comply.

Permitted Content

  • Original music that you own or have the rights to distribute
  • Cover songs with valid mechanical licences
  • Remixes and edits with appropriate permissions from the rights holders
  • Explicit content that is correctly flagged as explicit

Prohibited Content

Rights Violations

  • Music that uses samples or interpolations without clearance
  • Cover songs without mechanical licences
  • Music that infringes the copyright or intellectual property of any third party

Harmful or Illegal Content

  • Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence
  • Content containing hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Content that sexualises or exploits minors in any way
  • Content designed to harass, threaten, or intimidate any individual

Deceptive or Misleading Content

  • Using a famous artist name in your metadata to deceive listeners
  • Uploading content misrepresented as something it is not
  • AI-generated voice likenesses of real artists submitted without their consent
  • Fake streams or any attempt to artificially inflate streaming numbers

Non-Music Content

  • White noise, ambient sound, or silence submitted as music
  • Audiobooks, podcasts, or spoken-word content outside the music context
  • Sound effects or stock audio not part of an original musical work

Consequences of Violations

  • Release rejection
  • Content takedown
  • Account warning or suspension
  • Permanent ban for serious or repeat violations
  • Withholding of royalties in cases of fraud
