Distributing your music through InterSpace Distribution is a straightforward 5-step process. Once submitted, your release goes through an admin review before being delivered to streaming platforms and stores worldwide. This guide walks you through every step from start to finish.

Make sure you have the following ready before creating a release:

- Track metadata — song titles, featuring artists, composers, lyricists, and producers
- Release information — release title, genre, language, and your label name (if any)

Step 2 — Tracks
Add the audio tracks for your release.
- Click Add Track to upload your first audio file
- For each track, fill in:
- Track Title
- Featuring Artists (if any)
- Composers / Songwriters
- Producers
- Lyricists
- ISRC Code — leave blank if you don't have one; InterSpace will assign one automatically
- Repeat for every track on your release
- You can drag and reorder tracks before submitting
Tip: ISRC codes uniquely identify your recording across all DSPs. If you already own one for a previously released track, enter it here to keep reporting consistent.
Click Continue to Schedule when all tracks are added.
Step 3 — Schedule Your Release
Choose when your release goes live on streaming platforms.
Option A — Release as Soon as Possible (ASAP)
Your release will go live within 1–3 business days after admin approval. A rush processing fee applies and will be charged at the final submission step.
Best for: urgent drops, time-sensitive promotions, or surprise releases.
Option B — Schedule for a Specific Date
Pick a future calendar date for your release. The minimum lead time depends on your plan:
Plan Minimum Lead Time Free 16 days from today Artiste / Artiste Plus / Label 5 days from today Why the difference? Paid plans receive priority processing, allowing a tighter scheduling window.
Tip: For the best results with playlist pitching and promotional campaigns, schedule your release 3–4 weeks in advance. Fridays are the global standard music release day and tend to perform better with DSP editorial teams.
Click Continue to DSP Selection when done.
Step 4 — DSP Selection
Choose the platforms and stores where your music will be distributed. InterSpace delivers to 27 platforms including:
Major Streaming Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon, Tidal, Deezer, YouTube, SoundCloud, Qobuz, iHeartRadio, Pandora
African & Regional Platforms Boomplay, Audiomack, Mdundo, Anghami, KKBOX, NetEase, Josplay, 7Digital
Social & Video TikTok, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube Content ID
Rights & Identification ACR Cloud, Audible Magic, Music Story
You can select all platforms or choose a custom set. Most artists select all platforms to maximise reach.
YouTube Content ID — enabling this registers your tracks in YouTube's Content ID system so you can earn revenue when your music is used in other creators' videos.
Click Continue to Review when done.
Step 5 — Review & Submit
This is your final check before submitting. Review all details carefully:
- Release title, type, and cover art
- Track listing and metadata
- Your chosen release date or ASAP selection
- Selected DSP platforms
- Any fees due (ASAP rush fee if applicable)
If anything looks wrong, use the Back buttons to return to any previous step and make corrections.
When everything is correct, click Submit for Review. If you selected ASAP, you will be prompted to complete the rush fee payment before your release enters the review queue.
What Happens After You Submit
Once submitted, your release moves through the following stages. You can track progress at any time from Releases → View Release.
